RE: Invitation to participate in the inaugural SACCO Awards 2024
We invite you to participate in the SACCO Awards 2024. The awards ceremony has been reintroduced this year and is scheduled for Tuesday 26th November, 2024 at JW Marriott Hotel, Nairobi.
The theme for this year’s awards is, ‘Improving Member Experience Through Responsive Leadership’.
Think Business has been the leading competitive intelligence purveyor in the financial sector in Kenya, for over 20 years, engaging in strategic research, data analysis, publishing and industry awards, among them banking, insurance and investment.
The growth of SACCOs just like that of banks thrives on the trust and confidence of members and depositors. Rrecognizing excellence in the SACCO sector and conferring awards on outstanding performers will help build trust and confidence in the SACCO sector.
The awards will also set industry stakeholders and SACCO members on a course to improving their own internal practices with the aim of meeting set standards and benchmarking with other players locally and globally.
Below are some pointers about the awards:
- The Awards are open to SACCOs regulated by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA).
- Some categories require the analysis of published financial data of all participating SACCOs. Participants whose financial reports are not published publicly will be required to provide that information for their entries in those categories to be judged.
- We will also be conducting an industrywide customer satisfaction study that will result in a benchmark Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) for the industry. This will be an online survey so we will send a link to all SACCOs for onward transmission to their members to respond.
- All entries will be submitted online to https://uat.craftsilicon.com/SaccoAwards2/Account/ a secure portal powered by Craft Silicon with restricted access to only those approved by the participating Sacco and accredited by us.
