Blue-Chip Issuers Help Sketch Kenya’s Corporate Yield Curve

Kenya’s domestic yield curve is slowly deepening as top-tier corporates turn more actively to markets, complementing bank finance with bonds and equity issues that help anchor long-term pricing. Recent analysis points to the signalling role of big-name issuers such as Safaricom PLC and East African Breweries PLC , whose funding decisions and secondary-market performance are increasingly used as reference points for pricing risk along the curve.
